Design tips for seed paper

Bloom your message with growing paper! Get the best result by taking these design tips into account.

  • Maximum 40% covered with ink
The growing paper is full of "bumpy" seeds, which can cause streaks when printing full color for large areas.
  • Light colors and small fonts could be less visible
We advise to not use light pastel colors for text such as yellow, light green and pink.
  • Double-sided printing on 80 grams seed paper is not possible
Note that when making a folder, the print can shine through. Design only on the front and inside right page of your folder.

The correct format
Upload your files as .pdf, .png or .jpeg. We can't process other file types.

Option 1: Your design has no border

  • Apply an 8 mm margin from the cutting line
Place your text and images 8 mm from the cutting line.
  • Upload the correct size
Check if your file has the correct format. For example, an A6: 105 x 148 mm.

Option 2: Your design is till the edge

  • Make your design 5 mm bigger around all sides
Make the design a bit bigger, so no white cutting lines appear during cutting.
  • Apply an 8 mm margin from the cutting line
Place your text and images 8 mm from the cutting line.
  • Upload the correct size
Check if your file has the correct format + 10 mm. For example: an A6 is 105 x 148 mm, so your design should be 115 x 158 mm.
